We are shocked to learn of the sad death of Zed author Professor Gavin Mooney and his partner Dr Del Weston yesterday in Tasmania. Gavin was one of the world’s leading health economists and had published his latest book ‘The Health of Nations: Towards a New Political Economy’ with Zed earlier in the year. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to his family, friends and colleagues.
