In the past few years, it has been hard to miss news about the death of Saddam Hussein, and lately Muammar Gaddafi. BBC World Service recently brodcast a dcoumentary 'After the Dictators' about life in countries where recent dictators have fallen, as well as the lives of the leaders themselves. Amongst those featured was Charles Taylor, former leader of Liberia and subject of one of our books, 'Charles Taylor and Liberia', who is currently on trial at the International Crime Court, at the Hague for war crimes.
